Set up the project and sketch the loss
- Navigate the Home Screen, Project Lists, and update settings.
- Search, sort, and filter projects.
- Map assignments and access directions.
- Enter information in the Required Info screen.
- Sketch a loss and work with room features and variables.
- Use a compatible DISTO to bring measurements into Sketch.
02 · Scope and documentation
Scope, document, and share the estimate
- Add line items and estimate repair costs.
- Work with Mobile’s line item suggestions.
- Add and organize photos and video.
- Record field notes with your voice.
- Complete, review, print, email, and export an estimate.
- Connect the field workflow with Xactimate Desktop.

Learn Mobile with an experienced instructor
Bruce Authement is a Master Certified Xactimate Instructor, former president of the National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters, and an experienced catastrophe adjuster and trainer.
Bruce demonstrates each activity in small, manageable steps, then helps participants repeat it in Xactimate Mobile. Ask questions, use chat, or share your screen when you need help.
The class does not move forward until participants understand the activity and can complete it confidently.
